Membership Details Guest Membership Guest members are non-paying registered members who use the AWR website. As a non-paying registered guest member, you will have restricted access to the AWR website, you will not be able to make contact with other members, via the AWR message forwarding service, resulting from any searches you have made. However, Guest members can leave messages on the boards and await replies, as well as being able to use the ”PM” service within the AWR forum. Full Membership If you decide to take the Full Membership which is available for 12 months, you will have unrestricted access to all areas of the website, as well as being able to make contact with other members, via the AWR message forwarding service, which we make available to you. Full members registered with AWR will be able to: · access all areas of the AWR website; · send and receive email messages to and from other full members using the facilities we make available; · build their family tree, and make contact with other tree members, using the facilities we make available; · view the family tree of other members where express permission has been given, and make contact; · post information and data to any message boards which may be available on AWR; · view other members ‘My Ancestors’ page where express permission has been given, and make contact; · chat with other members via the message boards; · receive live help from the website administrator when and where indicated; · make postings, and reply to other member’s posts, on all the message boards; · offer their service to help other members; · request a search for friends and relatives with whom they have lost touch; · add their own relevant topic on the Forum (objectionable material will be removed); · receive AWR newsletters; and · take part within a growing community of like-minded people, within the AWR website. Members please note: All Members must have, and continue to have, the express permission of any living person, to include their details in the TNG family tree and their ‘My Ancestors’ page. If a living person does not expressly consent to their details appearing in a family tree, or anywhere within the AWR website, relevant details must be removed. Members are the controllers of the information they input relating to living persons, and therefore have obligations under the privacy and data protection laws (such as the Data Protection Act 1998). AWR may remove all or part of a family tree, if so required, by any affected third parties, or by any governmental or regulatory authority. Members must not undertake to offer a ‘look up’ and/or post information regarding the same, on the AWR boards, if permission from the copyright holder of such material offered, has not been obtained, AWR cannot and will not be held responsible for any such actions the copyright holder may take. Your use of AWR constitutes acceptance of our entire Agreement which includes our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Membership Details and House Rules. Membership Fee If you decide to become a full member, and therefore pay our full Membership Fee, you are agreeing to take the full membership for a subscription period of 12 months continuous membership, which we make available to you following payment of the full Membership Fee1. Full membership of £5.002 annually is for a period of 12 months continuous membership. Payment can be accepted via Paypal, Credit/Debit Card, Cheque or Postal Order. If you are asked for, and provide details of a credit, debit or charge card, you must ensure that you are fully entitled to use that card and that it has sufficient funds available to cover the charge which will be deducted from it. Why do I have to pay for Full Membership? For around 42p4 per month, through AWR you can begin the quest to find your ancestors, receive help and advice, request searches via live help, (when notified as available), and take part in a growing community whereby information and advice can be shared with likeminded people, with whom you will then be able to make contact via the message forwarding service which we make available to you. The Membership Fee will be used to keep this website maintained and free from abuse, for your enjoyment, as well as helping to keep the environment secure, it will also help to pay for domain registration, and software licensing fees. Please note that this web site will not be moderated or have live help continuously, 24 hours per day, although members are welcome to offer their help in moderating and reporting any abuse on the boards.
